Ah yes vectorworks
I just got my hands on a Vectorworks education license and let me tell you, it’s been quite the journey so far. At first, I was feeling pretty overwhelmed by all the tools and features. It’s like a giant toolbox with a million different options and I had no idea where to start. But as I started to dive in and play around with it, I started to realize how powerful this software really is.
One thing that tripped me up at first was getting used to the interface. It’s packed with so many different buttons and options that it felt like trying to navigate a maze. But as I spent more time with it, I started to get the hang of it and figure out where everything was.
Another thing that was new to me was the resource manager aspect. I worked with something like that before with lx plan but it was still a new concept to me. But as I learned more about it, I started to see how versatile it can be for designing.
Even though it’s been a bit of a bumpy ride, I’m not giving up on Vectorworks. I know that as I keep learning and exploring, it’s going to become an amazing tool for my design work. So for now, I’ll keep chugging along and figuring out this software. But I have a feeling that once I master it, it’s going to be worth all the effort. With that said it is very much a love-hate relationship.
